Leon Chen VP, Alumni

Leon Chen received his Ph.D in Molecular Pharmacology from Stanford in 2002. Based on his research as a graduate student, he co-founded KAI Pharmaceuticals, a peptide based therapeutic company developing novel therapeutics for cardiovascular disease and pain management, where he worked in a variety of functions for 5 years. Immediately prior to starting at the GSB, he worked at Venrock Associates as an Entrepreneur in Residence in their healthcare group. Leon is passionate about fostering entrepreneurship and the formation of successful teams and culture in new ventures.
